Let's come together in sacred circle to create connection and drop from our heads into our hearts through sharing Ceremonial Cacao, movement, and sound healing. This circle is open to everyone and offers a space to shift energy, invite clarity, renew your vitality, joy, and have some fun!
The practice of consuming Cacao has been embraced by communities in South and Central America for thousands of years and was often used for conflict resolution. It is known as "Food of the Gods" for its many health benefits. Nowadays, Cacao Ceremonies allow us to invite the Spirit of Cacao into our hearts.
This gentle medicine has the ability to support us in opening to our inner guidance system and a deeper understanding of our true Selves, connecting us with great spirit and the collective consciousness.
To enhance the experience we'll be utilizing dance movement to express ourselves before grounding into a meditative space with the sound medicine of Himalayan singing bowls. These frequencies offer subtle vibrations that help melt our whole body, regulate blood and energy flow, and encourage healing and restoration from a cellular level.
There will be a dedicated time for reflection to integrate and record any insights you may be gifted with.
We will conclude our time together by sharing in sacred circle before closing our space with gratitude and love.
Come with a curious and open mind, leave any expectations and allow yourself to flow in the present moment.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Things to bring:
- Your favorite mug
- Yoga mat + cozy blanket
- Pen + paper
- An intention and question for Mama Cacao
Things to note:
Please honor your health and your personal practices.
Cacao is best enjoyed on an empty stomach to optimize the medicinal benefits. It's advised to have a "clean diet" the day of and even the days leading up to the event.
Theobroma, which is the main active ingredient in cacao, is a stimulant. If you are sensitive to stimulants you will have the option to drink a lower dose. Cacao is part of a class of plants that contain entheogens - a psychoactive substance which releases naturally produced chemicals in the body.
If taken in higher doses these chemicals can invoke:
- changes in perception
- better mood
- feelings of spiritual inspiration
This may not be for you if you:
- Are pregnant
- Have high blood pressure
- Are on SSRIs (antidepressant medication)
If you have any questions regarding health concerns, please consult with your doctor regarding your participation.

Alex Vu (Nichi Healing)
I work with Holistic healing through Reiki, Sound healing, and Yoga. I enjoy diving deep into exploring the ancient texts and teachings because I believe that the closer we are to the root knowledge, the more grounded and authentic our practices can be. I also appreciate the modern scientific research that helps bridge the spiritual, metaphysical world and the scientific, logical world. This knowledge helps me see the universe through different angles, and helps me connect with people of different backgrounds and beliefs.
My offerings are shared with the vision of wholistic wellness, community building, and inclusivity in mind.
